| As you know by now, Dennis Scheper was the winner of the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Makeover contest from J&P Cycles. In previous segments of the show, we have seen the step-by-step process of how Dennis and J&P mechanic, Jeff Wiley, transformed Dennis’s stock Harley-Davidson Softail into a chromed-out, head-turning, “beast of the streets.” Well, today is the final installment. After they’re finished, you’ll get to see the “before and after” pictures that will show you just what parts and accessories from J&P Cycle can do for the “show and go” of your motorcycle!
First, Dennis and Jeff install an Avon Venom rear tire mounted on an awesome Weld Maltese Cross racing wheel with matching drive pulley and brake rotor. Next, Jeff installs a set of Phantom chrome frame softail covers that really add a good deal of shine to the bike. Well, they took care of the rear wheel and tire. Now it’s time to change out the front. Dennis and Jeff install a matching Weld Maltese Cross Aluminum front wheel with Weld’s matching stainless steel brake rotor and a front tire from Avon’s Venom series. The next part set consisted of J&P’s chrome miniature tachometer kit with mounting bracket and hardware. Next, some more chrome to get Dennis home! Jeff installs Kuryakyn’s one-piece die-cast chrome rear master cylinder cover. Last, but not least, it’s Fork Skins from Kuryakyn that chrome out the bike’s front end in minutes.
Finished! As Dennis, Jeff, and J&P owner, John Parham, step back and observe the changes that were made, they all realize that the transformation that took place turned a stock Harley-Davidson into an awesome bit of personal attitude. Sixty different parts were used in the process. As we have mentioned, most of them can be installed in just a matter of minutes. If you would like to review the entire transformation, including pictures, and have a list of what parts were installed, you can give it a look at www.jpcycles.com. That’s right, J&P Cycles: Keeping the World on 2 wheels!
