Most hardcore motorcycle enthusiasts know that The Tonight Show’s Jay Len is one of America’s great bike nuts. On a recent visit to LA, Jay invited our own Dennis Gage to check out two terrific bikes. One is a fully restored 1918 Pope – a 1000cc V-twin with full front & rear suspension that started on the first kick. “Show me a Harley that starts on the first kick!” quipped Jay. The other bike is a true beast – a mega-sport-cruiser powered by the C-18 turbine jet engine out of a Bell Ranger helicopter. Now, this is some mad power! We followed Jay around LA on both bikes – it’s a facinating study in contrasts you’ll love watching.

Three of the masters of fine motorcycle art have gotten together to form a company that’s fully licensed to produce Harley-Davidson paintings, prints & bronze sculptures. The company is called ART-inc (the letters stand for Artists Riding Together) & the guys involved are painters David Uhl & Tom Fritz & lost-wax bronze sculptor Jeff Decker. We caught up with the three at Daytona, where they were actually working on new projects while at the same time displaying their earlier works & meeting hundeds of fans. Check out these fine works of art as you watch, or click on the guys’ website – art-inc.biz!
