Dale Walksler has been an avid collector & restorer of vintage motorcycles for years. In the early ‘90s he built a museum in Mt. Vernon, IL next to his dealership to house & display his growing collection. & in the late ‘90s he moved the entire shebang to Maggie Valley, NC, where Wheels Through Time has become the centerpiece of this motorcycle-friendly town. Dale gave us the tour of WTT where every bike starts & runs – from a 1909 Harley to early Indian & Excelsior board trackers, rare Harley hill climbers, racers like a ’47 Crocker & many, many more. There’s a repro of a ‘50s Harley dealership, the Women in Motorcycling display – well, take a look – you’ll be planning your own trip to Maggie Valley!
